The Grand Tour Namibia Special in 2017 with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in the Beach (Buggy) Boys Namibian special shown on Amazon Prime Video.
Custom Design
We produced the Buggy for the TV show with Flatlands Engineering. East Coast Buggies created the buggy fibreglass shell. We made X number of shells and X buggies were used in filming. We were originally contacted by the BBC Top Gear team many years ago. We were super stoked to see our Manx in action .. lifetime dream for us.
Behind The Scenes
It took us X months to produce the shells. We started with phone call with the Grand Tour Team and they came over to our garage to take a look at some of our work. The team pured over the colour charts and came back with a colour scheme. We then got to work casting the fibre glass shell from template.
